is handsome pair of hand-painted wooden bookends. Looks like they are from the 1940’s or 1950’s. Brick red background edged with gold piping that has stylized black dart line work within the piping. High-quality hand-painted images appear to be of a Russell terrier. Measure about 5 inches tall by 4 inches wide by 2-1/8 inches deep. Each weights 1 lb. 1 oz.
Very good condition. Wear and scuffs. New non-slip pads attached to bottom. From smoke-free and per-free house. See photos for condition.
